The Vancouver Film Critics Circle (VFCC) announced their awards on January 8th, 2014 with giving away the Best Film award to Steve McQueen‘s 12 Years a Slave. Best Director award went to Alfonso Cuarón for his exceptional work in Gravity.
Last year, only 1 VFCC winner won the Oscar, i.e. Best Documentary for Searching for Sugar Man. Let's see how it goes this year.
