14th Annual Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards

The Vancouver Film Critics Circle (VFCC) announced their awards on January 8th, 2014 with giving away the Best Film award to Steve McQueen‘s 12 Years a SlaveBest Director award went to Alfonso Cuarón for his exceptional work in Gravity.


Last year, only 1 VFCC winner won the Oscar, i.e. Best Documentary for Searching for Sugar Man. Let's see how it goes this year.
